Several years ago, the management of FACI METALEST, S.L. made the strategic
decision of implementing a quality management system whitch would give the company
an instrument to improve organization and to facilitate the identificacion and fulfillment
of their customer`s needs.
In 1996, our system was certified by Bureau Veritas Quality International,
which was an objective acknowledgement of our compliance with
ISO 9002 specifications.

Our Quality Policy is based on the following:
- Prevention better than detection, avoiding the appearance of defects.
- Responsibility of each person and department in the company for their work and the tasks assigned to them.
- Customer-oriented approach, to acheive a high level of requirement fulfillment.
- Continuous improvement, considering quality a dynamic concept obtained by perseverance and progress which applies to both products and processes.
The general objetive of the company is to estabilish an organization and work system that
will enable us to mantain our competitiveness in suppying the market with products that
offer an optimum quality/price ratio.
Based on the idea that a managenment system should aim for the satisfaction of all parties
involved (including employees and the society as a whole) a work risk prevention management
system has been implemented, to guarantee the health of employees as far as possible.
An environment mangement system is also being implemented to guarantee a minimum environmental
impact of our activities and products. This system is based on the guidelines contained
in the ISO 14001 regulations.
